Sundried Tomato Halves, with single ingredient sea salt
To remove the salt just soak in water for half an hour to a few hours and drain.
Rehydrat (soak) them in advance before using in sauces or eating as is, also makes them soft and plump making them a lot easier to process and blend with other ingredients.
They can be eaten as they are but they are chewy in texture and much more salty in taste
Spice up your next dish with a sun dried tomato pesto, or toss some diced sdt's into your cooked green beens or scrummy salad. They work anywhere tomatoes do!

just blend the following ingredients together:
· 4 sun dried tomato halves, soaked for 4 hours or more
· 2 fresh tomatoes
· 1 date
· herbs and spices to taste, eg coriander, cumin, chili
